Since our beginning we have been driven by one core conviction, that the good news of Jesus has the power to transform people and transformed people transform things. This singular vision to lift Jesus high so that all may see, know, and put their trust in Him has led to God doing amazing thigs in our midst. In our mission to help people, Know God, Find Community, Discover their Purpose and Make a Difference our lives are experiencing the transformation that Jesus promised. Our commitment to reach those far from God and grow amazing families that make a difference has not wavered one inch. As we move into the future, we will continue to be a church where people can “be different and make a difference with people who are different”.
As a church family we will always leverage our lives, influence and resources to welcome people to the family. God is a Father and He wants a safe place to send His children, with His help we will build a church where everyone is welcomed, because no one is perfect and anything is possible.

No one could have ever imagined the amount of numerical and spiritual growth that we would witness when Angela and I moved home to plant Hope City Church four years ago. From the beginning, during our monthly vision nights we could see God stirring something within the hearts of people. It did not take long before we outgrew the living room, the garage, and then the lower level. It seems as though, every place we have gone, the Lord has been faithful to fill that space with people who are looking for hope and longing to make a difference. God has gathered a family from our city, to be a church in the city, of the and for the city. We are watching God build a city within a city. People from all across the Cedar Valley, from all walks of life, backgrounds, up brings and ethnicities. We are all united at Hope City in our mission to point people to Jesus who alone is capable of building a city of Hope.
Angela and I are aware that Building Home is the greatest faith endeavour that we have ever embraked on as a church family. Our family has been prayerfully taliking with each other and the Lord about how God wants us to sacrifcially and generously respond. We have so much excitement regarding the future home of Hope City Church and all that God will do when we have this vital ministry tool. We would like the opportunity to personally show you what the new facility will look like and share with you how we will Build Home. To ensure that we are able to do this, we want you to attend one of our PIE Meetings. A PIE Meeting is a Pastor Information Exchange
As your Pastor PLEASE make every effort to attend one of these PIE Meetings they are vitally important for what we will do together in the days to come. Each PIE Meeting will last a little over an hour, childcare is provided and there will be pie 😉
To overcome some of our most significant obstacles, we have found and secured 15.3 acres of land 1.5 miles from our current location for under $80,000. Our current plan is to keep our High street facility and continue to use it as a Dream Center for ministry. The size and price of the land is an amazing opportunity and through it we can see the hand of the Father leading us to our new home.
To see the new buildig design and to learn more about the Building Home project join us for a PIE Meeting and hear it frist hand from Pastor Q and Angela.
PIE Meetings are Pastoral Information Exchanges lead by Pastor Q and Angela. PIE Meetings are hosted in homes and at the church. PIE Meetings are where you will be able to learn more in-depth information about Building Home as well as get all of your questions answered and of course there will be pie 😉
Building a Home where lives are changed never comes easily or free. To create a God-honoring legacy we must remove obstacles, and that will only happen when passionate people choose to invest generously and sacrificially. Prepare to bring your commitment on Legacy Sunday, December 8th.
