Join other junior high and high school students from across the Cedar Valley at Hope City Church every Wednesday and Sunday night from 6:00-8:00 pm. We meet at the High Street location on Wednesdays and the Cedar Heights location on Sundays.
At Future, you'll connect with God, with your leaders, and with each other. We believe you were created with a purpose and to make a difference no matter your age! Did we mention we've got food and games? 😉
Small Groups
During Future we offer small groups or what we call Missional Communities (MCs). In your MCs, you'll have a chance to be real, ask questions, and build lasting friendships.
Partnering with Parents
There are several ways that parents can serve our Future students! You can bring you teenagers to church, lead a small student group, or serve on a Grow Team! To learn more about how to get involved, you can go through the 3-step Growth Track.
What to expect
First Wednesday
We host a student hangout at 6:00 PM at the First Wednesday service. Students can attend service with friends or family.
Future
Future takes place every Wednesday and Sunday during our MCs semester (Winter/Spring, Summer and Fall) to help students experience God, and meet lots of new friends. Pastor Mason Smith leads our Student Ministry.
Flash Friday
Flash Friday is our brand new experience that takes place on the last Friday of each month. These gatherings may take place on- or off-campus and consist of different fun activities such as movie night.
Small Groups
We believe Small Groups provide the kind of life-giving environment where students find freedom and experience spiritual growth. Student Small Groups are available every semester, and can be found in the Small Group Directory.
Intentional Experiences
Along with Future and MCs, we offer local mission trips, Middle and High School retreats, and leadership development groups throughout the year. These efforts provide additional opportunities for students to grow in their walk with God.
